The Symposium is supported by Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF, Asia-Europe Foundation ASEF, Movetia – Exchange and mobility, Wübben Foundation, Swisscom, Swiss and RAABE. It is organized in cooperation with UNESCO, Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education EDK, Swiss Conference of Cantonal Directors of Social Affaires SODK, Association of Teachers Switzerland (LCH), Association of School Leadership Switzerland (VSLCH), and Association of School Leadership Germany asd as well as other local, national and international partners.

For the last 12 years the Symposium has been the largest international congress in Europe on education leadership. 800 experts working in different fields of practice and research from around 50 countries worldwide discuss challenges and solutions for education and schools for tomorrow. In 2017, 1100 experts from 76 countries around the world discussed what tomorrow's schools should be like in 100 speeches, paper presentations, and workshops with around 200 speakers. The conference languages are English, French and German; simultaneous translation is provided for the entire plenary program. The parallel program is either in English or German. There will be sessions in French and Spanish, too.
